A WhatsApp broadcast message has been in circulation recently, containing information about recruitment process of the National Population Commission NPC with a link attached to it and a all to action for readers to click on it.

A chat forwarded several times on WhatsApp claims that the NPC is currently recruiting for the 2022/23 trial census.
VERDICT
Verification shows that the NPC has stopped recruiting as trial census commenced 27th June. The post is fake and the link attached is a phishing link.

When FactcheckElections visited the website, personal details were requested on three phases after which three multiple choice questions were asked.
The response gotten was that respondents should share the same link with friends till a full bar shows.
No matter how long you shared, you will only be generating traffic to the website and will never get recruited.
The director for Public Affairs, National Population Commission, Isiaka Yahaya has also come out to debunk the recruitment. in a statement released by the commission.
