Popular singer David Adeleke, @davido claimed in a tweet tagging INEC that voters believed to be PDP faithfuls are not allowed to exercise their franchise in Ife.

Davido is strongly supporting his uncle, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, who is also the candidate of opposition party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the ongoing governorship election in Osun state.

He was also present at the party’s mega rally in the run up to the governorship election.

Verdict

The claim is false. According to our observers at Ife Central LGA and Ife East LGA, voting is going smoothly and there is nothing like intimidation.
